The Motley Crew

We are a small group (so far) who in February 2009 formed this club.

Our main aim is to provide family focused camping and 4wding trips purely for the enjoyment of getting out in this great land we call Australia and for each others company. Our trips are not what would be called extreme or difficult, thus enabling people new to the 4wd scene to join us and feel comfortable that they will not be out of their depth.

We all use our 4wd’s as our daily drivers so we want to avoid unnecessary damage. When we go 4wding there is always something to be achieved by doing so ie.the view from the top of a hill.

Most of our camping trips are a base camp type set up, meaning  2wd’s can access the camping sites to join us and we go 4wding from there (with the exception of beach camping of course)

The majority of our members have young families and we involve all the kids in our activities (not the campfire beer talk). The children of our members hold an unofficial status of “Mini Motley” and we hope one day those juniors will take over the running of the club, continuing what we started.
